Martin Homer (1945–2023) was a British studio potter who operated his workshop out of the hop kilns at Aston Bank in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. He produced wheel-thrown stoneware functional vessels, including creamers, mugs, tankards, and jugs. His construction techniques included attaching hand-pulled ribbon handles, braiding double-interlaced rope handles, and piercing clay surfaces for decoration. Alongside running his commercial studio, he worked for several decades as a local pottery tutor.

He developed distinct turquoise, blue, and tin glazes for his functional wares. He also specialised in reviving historical 18th-century “puzzle jugs,” recreating their traditional mechanics, internal tubes, and hidden spouts using contemporary high-temperature kiln firings.
