Joyful pair of Blue Bird mugs by Kevin Warren

Each 11cm high, 8.5cm top diameter, 12cm diameter including handle.

Born in Kent in 1949, Kevin took up pottery at a young age, studying at Medway College of Art & Design in 1975, training with studio potter Mike Goddard for four years. In 1982 he set up his own workshop making ash glazed stoneware, a range of terracotta pots and decorated slip ware. With increasing sales and success, Kevin relocated his studio from Kent to Norfolk where he still produces today.

Kevin has works with earthenware and stoneware clays. Several years were spent making soda glazed stoneware and at present he is enjoying the pleasures of slipped red earthenware.
