British studio potter Michael “Mick” Davey operates Cheverell Studio Pottery in Great Cheverell, Wiltshire. Drawing inspiration from nature, abstract art, and expressionism, Davey has built a career focused on producing accessible, functional, and decorative domestic ware. His work is frequently showcased and sold through regional artistic networks, including the Marlborough Open Studios.

Davey creates wheel-thrown pieces in earthenware clay, applying colourful liquid slips and glazes to create bold, multi-coloured abstract motifs, spontaneous paint splashes, and tactile surfaces.
